American Comedian Built Korea’s Stand-Up Scene by Accident

Danny Cho, a Korean American stand-up comedian, moved to Seoul in 2017 for a two-year break from burnout, not to pursue comedy. He stumbled into Korea's underground stand-up scene in Hongdae and ended up helping build what's now a thriving comedy culture with hits like Psick Univ. Nine years later, he's still here and taking Korean stand-up global.
