Ancient Egyptian Mummies Coming to Seoul This December

Yonhap News is co-hosting a major exhibition featuring 150 ancient Egyptian artifacts from the Brooklyn Museum, including mummies, sculptures, and jewelry. The show opens December 11 at Seoul Arts Center and runs through April 11, 2027. It's South Korea's first Egyptian mummy exhibition in four years, with standout pieces like a priest's mummy from around 760-558 B.C. and a mummified cat.
Why It Matters
If you're in Seoul and love history or world culture, this is a must-see—and it's a great way to experience museum-quality exhibitions without leaving the city.
