Estonian Slackliner Walks 120m Above Gwanghwamun

Estonian extreme athlete Jaan Roose will attempt to walk across a 160-meter slackline suspended 120 meters above central Seoul on Thursday, connecting the Koreana Hotel to the Donga Media Center. Slacklining is a balance sport performed on a flat, flexible 2.5-5cm wide line, where athletes can also do jumps and spins. Roose is a three-time world champion who famously crossed the Strait of Messina in 2024, covering 3.6 kilometers.
