Han Kang’s ‘The Tear Box’ Becomes Choral Music Theater

Nobel Prize-winning author Han Kang's children's story 'The Box of Tears' has been adapted into an original choral music theater production by the National Chorus of Korea. The work follows a child who cries over things others don't understand, meeting a mysterious man who collects tears and an elderly man who has never cried. The production debuts at the Seoul Arts Center on August 14 as part of the annual Liberation Day commemorative concert.
