K-ETA waiver confirmed through Dec 31, 2026

South Korea's K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) requirement stays waived for all currently eligible nationalities until December 31, 2026. Starting January 1, 2027, K-ETA approval will be required before boarding any flight to Korea.
Why It Matters
If you're inviting friends or family to visit this year, they're still fine without K-ETA. But anyone planning a 2027 trip should factor in extra lead time for authorization.
