Korea and Guatemala Push Forward on Trade Deal and Development Ties

South Korea's Foreign Minister Cho Hyun met with Guatemala's Carlos Martinez in Seoul to discuss deepening bilateral relations. The two countries agreed to speed up Guatemala's accession to Korea's Central America Free Trade Agreement, which already includes five other nations since 2021. They also pledged to expand cooperation on climate change and public administration.
