Korea Pushes K-Food in Mongolia, Signs Food Security Deal

Agriculture Minister Song Mi-ryung visited Ulaanbaatar this week to promote Korean food products at consumer tastings and a new convenience store meal launch. Mongolia has become one of South Korea's fastest-growing food export markets, with Korean convenience stores now controlling 90% of the country's convenience store market. The two countries also renewed their bilateral food security agreement after a decade.
