Korea’s Foreign Tourist Arrivals Surging Ahead of Schedule

South Korea has already welcomed over 17 million foreign tourists in just nine months, putting it on pace to exceed last year's record of 18.94 million by October. That's a 21.5% jump compared to the same period last year, with September alone bringing in 2.06 million visitors. China, Japan, and Taiwan remain the top source countries, with Chinese visitors leading by far.
