MMCA Gwacheon Celebrates 40 Years with Light-Based Art

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Gwacheon is marking its 40th anniversary with a special exhibition called 'Imaginations in Light' featuring light-based installations by renowned international and Korean artists. The museum has transformed its entire campus—galleries, bridges, and outdoor sculpture park—into an immersive experience where light connects nature, architecture, and art. Notable works include Philippe Parreno's 'Marquee' at the entrance and Kim Ayoung's LED bridge installation.
