Rare Joseon Painting of 1624 Ming Voyage on Display

The National Museum of Korea is showcasing a historic album documenting a 1624 Joseon diplomatic mission to Ming China seeking recognition for King Injo. The 25-leaf painting set, created as a copy in the late 1700s-early 1800s, was originally commissioned by Chief Envoy Yi Deok-hyeong to guide future sea travelers.
