Royal Palace Ticket Prices Rising in January 2027

Korea's major royal palaces like Gyeongbokgung and Deoksugung, plus Joseon Dynasty tombs, will see admission fee increases starting January 1, 2027. It's the first price hike since 2005, with the Korea Heritage Service planning to announce new rates in November after public input. Current prices range from 1,000 won for smaller palaces to 3,000 won for major ones, plus extra fees for special areas like Changdeokgung's Secret Garden.
