Seoul’s K-Architecture Goes Global at World Congress

Seoul showcased Korean architecture at the UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona this week, presenting a vision that goes beyond traditional hanok designs. The Seoul Metropolitan Government used the event to promote its K-Architecture Comprehensive Support Plan, launched in June 2025 to boost Korean architects' global opportunities. The initiative frames Korean architecture as defined by relationships and connections rather than iconic individual structures.
