Gangnam's district festival takes over COEX and Yeongdong-daero from October 2 to 5, 2026 (dates listed as planned), built around a K-pop concert on the ten-lane boulevard, an opening parade, a fashion festa and a K-culture and food zone.

A ten-lane road, closed for a concert

Gangnam Festival 2026 is scheduled for October 2–5 around COEX and Yeongdong-daero. The listed programme puts the opening ceremony and parade on Saturday October 3, the Yeongdong-daero K-pop concert on Sunday October 4, and the Gangnam Fashion Festa plus a K-culture and food zone running October 2–4, with an international peace marathon closing the festival.

The concert is the part worth planning around. Yeongdong-daero is one of the widest roads in Seoul, and closing it to build a stage is the sort of thing that only happens a few times a year.
