Goyang International Flower Festival 2026

April 24, 2026 – May 10, 2026
The Goyang International Flower Festival transforms Ilsan Lake Park into one of Korea's most spectacular spring displays, with tens of millions of flowers across themed garden installations running 17 days (April 24 - May 10). International pavilions represent floral traditions from multiple countries, alongside domestic garden showcases, night illuminations, and weekend performances. It is consistently ranked among Korea's top spring events and draws massive crowds on weekends - visit on a weekday for a calmer experience. Take the GTX-A or Gyeongui-Jungang Line to Baekma or Neunggok Station; free shuttle buses run to the park during the festival.

The Festival

The Goyang International Flower Festival transforms KINTEX and the surrounding Ilsan Lake Park area in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province into one of Asia’s largest flower exhibitions across ten days (April 25 – May 5). Over a million flowers from dozens of countries are displayed in themed gardens, pavilions, and outdoor installations, with international flower competition entries alongside Korean regional displays. The festival consistently draws over two million visitors and is one of the most visually impressive events on the Korean spring calendar.

Ilsan Lake Park

The festival is set around Ilsan Lake Park — Goyang’s large artificial lake surrounded by manicured gardens and walking paths. The lake and park remain pleasant even on overcast days, and the flower installations benefit from the open space and natural light. On sunny spring weekends the atmosphere is exceptional. Arrive on a weekday morning for the best experience; weekend afternoons see enormous crowds throughout the park.
