Gunpo's annual royal azalea festival transforms the city's hillside parks into a blaze of pink and purple. Live performances, local food stalls, and hiking trails in full bloom.

The Gunpo Cheoljjukje (Royal Azalea Festival) 2026 runs April 18–26 at Cheoljjuk Hill and surrounding parks in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province. Every spring, hundreds of thousands of royal azaleas burst into bloom across the hillsides, turning Gunpo into one of the most colourful spots in the Seoul metro area.

The festival includes live music stages, traditional performances, local food vendors, and family activities — all free to attend.
