MY PACE Hangang Triathlon Festival throws out the rule book on competitive triathlons. There are no rankings, no timing chips, and no pressure — the event is designed as a participatory experience rather than a race. Set along Ttukseom Hangang Park in eastern Seoul, participants complete a swim leg, a cycling segment, and a run at whatever pace suits them.
The festival runs over three days with different ability groups staggered across sessions. Beginner and intermediate levels depart from Ttukseom; the advanced route extends to Jamsil Water Taxi Dock. Equipment can be rented on site. Completing any two of the three disciplines earns a finisher medal — completing all three gets an upgraded version.
Two hundred international slots are separately allocated and sold on a first-come, first-served basis through Klook and Trazy. Staff with basic English support are present at the registration desk. The Han River setting makes this one of the most scenic athletic events in Seoul — the riverside path is flat and well-maintained.
Ttukseom Hangang Park is accessible via Line 2 — Ttukseom Station (Exit 2), about a 10-minute walk to the park entrance. Water and food stations are available throughout the course.
