Thailand’s Biggest Water Festival, Now in Korea
S2O started in Bangkok as a modern reinvention of Songkran — Thailand’s traditional New Year water festival — layered with EDM stages, international headliners, and a million liters of water per day. It expanded to Korea and has become one of the country’s most-anticipated summer events for electronic music fans. The 2026 Korea edition runs July 11–12 at Seoul Land in Gwacheon.
What It Is
Multiple stages. International and Korean DJs performing back to back. And water — constant, relentless water, fired from cannons across the crowd throughout the day. Unlike WATERBOMB’s team battle format, S2O runs as a continuous festival: the music doesn’t stop, and neither does the water. Gates open at 1 PM daily and the show runs until 10 PM.
Key Details
Age restriction: 20+ only. Tickets are available through Megatix Asia. Waterproof bags and dry clothes are essential — lockers are available on site. The venue is Seoul Land, an amusement park in Gwacheon that transforms into a festival ground for the weekend.
Getting There
Seoul Land is in Gwacheon, south of Seoul. Take Seoul Metro Line 4 to Seoul Grand Park Station (서울대공원역), then walk about 10 minutes to the venue. Approximately 40 minutes from central Seoul.
