The weekend evenings from around 7 p.m. bring an unpredictable mix of musicians, acrobats, and impromptu groups that operate independently of the club and bar economy in the blocks nearby. The surrounding streets connecting the playground to Hongik University's main gate hold the densest concentration of live music venues in Korea.
