A tidal flat and reed bed reserve at the westernmost tip of Seoul where the Han River meets the tidal influence of the Yellow Sea. The site is a registered migratory bird habitat on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and hosts significant numbers of shorebirds during spring and autumn migration. In winter, bean geese and teal overwinter in the flooded fields behind the reserve. An observation platform and a short boardwalk give access without disturbing the habitat. Almost no tourist infrastructure; bring binoculars. The reserve is adjacent to the Gangseo Wetland Park and the Gayang Wetland, forming Seoul's most important contiguous nature corridor.
