Cheongdam Gallery Street (청담 갤러리거리)

A concentration of contemporary art galleries runs through the residential streets behind the main Cheongdam shopping strip. Galleries here represent established Korean and international artists rather than emerging talent, and shows change regularly. Most are free to enter without an appointment. The cumulative effect on a single afternoon walk is an unplanned survey of what the Korean contemporary art market currently values.
