The street running east of Dapsimni station holds the largest concentration of antique dealers and vintage furniture shops outside of Insa-dong, specialising in Korean traditional furniture, ceramics, and decorative objects from the Joseon and early modern periods. The operations are genuine dealers rather than tourist shops — the stock turns over, prices are negotiable, and the owners have specialist knowledge. The surrounding Dapsimni neighbourhood has retained a lower-density residential character that is increasingly rare in this part of Seoul. The antique street operates primarily on weekday schedules; Saturdays attract more dealers opening secondary stock.
