A protected wetland reserve at the Han River's western edge in Gangseo-gu, where the river widens before entering the tidal reach near Gimpo. The wetland supports nesting herons, egrets, and — in winter — migratory cranes passing through on the East Asian flyway. An elevated boardwalk allows observation without disturbing the reed beds. The adjacent Gangseo Wetland Ecological Park adds a further managed nature corridor. Entirely outside the tourist circuit; local birdwatchers and cyclists using the Han River path are the main visitors. The combination with the nearby Gungsan Park and Yanghwa Ferry Site makes a full western riverbank half-day.
