Gwangalli Beach in Suyeong-gu faces the Gwangan Bridge — a 7.4-kilometre suspension bridge that is illuminated with a programmable LED system and forms the defining night image of contemporary Busan. The beach road cafe strip and the restaurants behind the beach reach their evening peak from 9 p.m. The beach is significantly quieter than Haeundae but the view of the bridge across the water is more dramatic than any beach view Haeundae provides. The Millak Raw Fish Village behind the beach holds the highest concentration of hoe (raw fish) restaurants in Busan; the market fish tanks from which the fish are selected are visible from the street.
