A hill village just south of Namsan Mountain that was settled by displaced persons after the Korean War and evolved into Seoul most international residential community. The steep lanes hold Lebanese bakeries, French wine bars, and Turkish kebab restaurants operated by long-term expatriate residents. The rooftop bars with views over central Seoul are known to insiders. The community vibe is closer to a European neighborhood than typical Seoul.
