Hangangdaero Urban Walkway (한강대로 도심 보행로)

The pedestrian infrastructure along Hangangdaero — the main boulevard connecting Seoul Station to the Yongsan development zone — includes a series of elevated walkways and underpasses that allow continuous pedestrian movement through a section of the city that would otherwise be defined by its car-oriented arterial road. The Seoullo 7017 elevated park above the Seoul Station approach connects this corridor to the Namdaemun and Myeongdong areas above. The walk from Seoul Station south toward the Yongsan station area gives a ground-level view of the development transition between the old city fabric and the new Yongsan district.
