Hoegi Pajeon & Makgeolli Alley
📍 Hoegi-ro 28-gil, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Hoegi Station Line 1, Exit 1)
A strip of informal eateries dating back to the 1970s serving the classic student combo: crispy seafood pajeon paired with cloudy makgeolli rice wine for around ₩15,000–₩25,000 per person. Beloved by Kyung Hee University students, it sees almost no foreign tourists. Exit Hoegi Station at Exit 1, turn left; liveliest from 5PM onward.
