The small park in the middle of the Hongdae commercial area has been the informal center of the neighborhood's street culture for decades. On weekends, buskers set up in the lanes around it, food vendors ring the edges, and the surrounding cafés spill seating onto the pavement. It looks chaotic but has its own rhythm — the park is where Hongdae's energy pools before spreading through the surrounding streets.
