The blocks running east from Itaewon station exit 4 concentrate more culinary diversity per meter than almost anywhere else in Korea. Ethiopian, Lebanese, Indian, Mexican, Turkish, and a dozen other cuisines operate out of small restaurants that have served their respective expat communities for years. The quality is real — these places cook for people who know the food, not for novelty seekers.
