Mangu Historical Cultural Park

📍 Mangubon-dong, Jungnang-gu, Seoul

A quiet hillside park in Jungnang-gu that preserves a cluster of historical structures from the Joseon period, including a restored village shrine, stone pagodas, and the remains of an old estate boundary wall. The park is almost entirely used by neighbourhood residents and is absent from all tourist maps. The upper section connects to a short forest trail with views east over the Jungnang district and toward the Achasan ridge. The lower pond area has benches and a lotus garden that blooms in July. A useful off-the-beaten-path stop when exploring the Achasan or Mangusan hiking routes nearby.
