National Museum of Korea Evening Visit (국립중앙박물관 야간)

📍 Seobinggo-ro 137, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

The National Museum of Korea in Ichon-dong holds the largest collection of Korean cultural artifacts in the world across ten permanent galleries and a 43-metre atrium that functions as a public space even without paying for entry. Evening visits — the museum stays open until 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays — draw a fraction of the daytime crowd and allow access to the permanent collection without queuing. The outdoor reflecting pool and the garden approach are particularly good in the autumn. Entry to the permanent collection is free.
