Pimatgol (피맛골) Alley

Pimatgol is a narrow alley running parallel to the main Jongno street that was historically used by commoners to avoid the processions of officials on horseback. The original lane has been mostly demolished but short sections survive, preserved as pedestrian dining alleys.
