The stretch of Teheran-ro running east from Samsung station concentrates more five-star hotels, private members clubs, and premium serviced residences than anywhere else in Korea. The street-level retail caters accordingly — fine dining, wine bars, and concept cafés where the target customer has just come out of a convention at COEX. For visitors to the area on different budgets, the streets running north from the main boulevard have unexpectedly good lunch spots used by the office crowd.
