Seogyo-dong Hongdae Free Market Weekend Art
📍 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
The original Hongdae Free Market operating on weekend afternoons where art school students sell handmade goods, print editions, and ceramics directly from blankets. The market started in 2002 and remains the most authentic creative market in Seoul despite the commercialization of the surrounding area. Performance buskers set up simultaneously creating a spontaneous festival atmosphere in the park.
