Seokchon Lake & Lotte World Tower

The artificial lake in Olympic Park-adjacent Songpa that sits in the shadow of the Lotte World Tower — at 555 metres, the fifth tallest building in the world. The lakeside path is one of Seoul's best cherry blossom walks in early April; the rest of the year it's a calm 2km circuit with coffee carts and ducks. The Tower observation deck (Seoul Sky) requires booking ahead at 29,000 KRW.
