The several blocks of Sinsa-dong east of Garosu-gil have become Seoul's most concentrated wine bar district over the past decade — natural wine importers, small-production Korean wines, and European wine bars operating alongside each other. Most are small, most have food menus, and the combined effect on a Thursday evening is more like a European wine neighborhood than anything else in the city. The selection of Korean natural wines in particular has expanded faster here than anywhere else.
