Wirye-dong Wirye New Town Canal Walk Modern Design

The newest planned residential district in the Seoul metropolitan area, completed in the 2020s, features an unusual urban canal system running through the residential blocks. The canal walk promenade is clean, modern, and planted with species chosen for year-round color. The district demonstrates contemporary Korean urban planning ideals. The surrounding mountain ring provides immediate access to nature from the newest apartment blocks.
