World Cup Park (월드컵공원)

📍 Haneul-gongwon-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul

Built on the site of a former landfill for the 2002 World Cup, the park consists of five sub-parks covering 3.4 square kilometers — Noeul Park has the best sunset views over the Han River; Haneul Park on the landfill summit blooms with silvergrass in October. The park borders the World Cup Stadium and the DMC media district. Free, undervisited by tourists, and one of the larger open green spaces within the city limits.
