Times Square in Yeongdeungpo-gu is the largest shopping complex in the Seoul western districts — a combined mall, cinema, exhibition hall, and department store on the site of the former Gyeongseong Textile Factory, parts of which are preserved in the complex architecture. The Yeongdeungpo traditional market adjacent to Times Square is one of the largest traditional markets in western Seoul and the evening food street around the station area holds the traditional pork belly restaurant district that has served the surrounding working-class neighbourhood since the 1970s. The Han River at Yeongdeungpo provides direct access to the 63 Building and the Yeouido riverfront from the Yeongdeungpo station side.
