Korea's financial center has a different texture from the rest of Seoul — wide avenues, corporate towers, and a polished ground-level retail scene that caters to a well-paid office crowd. The IFC Mall connects underground to the subway and houses some of Seoul's best mid-range restaurants alongside international chains. After 7 p.m. on weekdays, the district empties out entirely, which makes the riverside walk behind it feel unexpectedly private.
