Seoul Spring — Cherry Blossom Spots and Spring Courses

Seoul’s spring is from late March to early May, with cherry blossom season being the highlight. Cherry blossom spots (blooming period: usually late March to early April) Yeouido Yunjung-ro: Seoul’s largest cherry blossom destination. About 1,800 cherry trees. Weekends are very crowded, so visiting early on weekdays is recommended. Seokchon Lake: Next to Lotte World in Jamsil. Walk around the lake while viewing cherry blossoms. Many family visitors. Namsan Walking Trail: Less crowded with cherry blossoms viewable along the uphill trail. Changgyeonggung Palace: When there are nighttime cherry blossom opening events, the harmony of the historic palace and cherry blossoms is special. Beyond cherry blossoms, spring recommendation: Seoul Forest Tulips: Tulip festival in mid-April.
