Two-day Korean rock and indie festival at KINTEX, Goyang (July 4–5). Day 1: N.Flying, Ki Hyun, ONEWE. Day 2: Jaurim, NELL, Crying Nut, Cherry Filter, FT Island. A deep cut into Korea's band history — legendary acts still performing.
Palette Festival gathers Korean rock and indie bands across two days — a line-up that reads like a retrospective of the Korean band scene across generations. Day 1 (July 4) brings N.Flying, Ki Hyun, ONEWE, Insung of SF9, and Band Kirin. Day 2 (July 5) is the heavier legacy bill: Jaurim, NELL, Crying Nut, Cherry Filter, and FT Island. These are acts with decades of history and fanbases that reach across Asia.
Jaurim — formed in 1997, one of Korea’s most enduring rock bands. NELL — post-rock legends whose discography is referenced in everything that came after. Crying Nut — the band that effectively launched Korean punk. FT Island — a generation-defining act that bridged idol and band formats. This is not a nostalgia act; these bands still perform and record.
KINTEX Hall 9 in Goyang — a large indoor venue that handles both sound and crowds well. Festival seating/standing for most sections.
