Korea's biggest summer water festival — K-pop and hip-hop performances combined with epic water gun battles. Held over three days at KINTEX outdoor stage in Goyang. Tickets sell fast; book early. Bring clothes you don't mind destroying.
WATERBOMB didn’t start big. When it launched in 2015 at Seoul Sports Complex, it was a modest experiment — a music festival where the audience got wet. A decade later, it runs across multiple Korean cities every summer and has taken its show to Singapore, Los Angeles, and Manila. The concept turned out to be universal: K-pop stars plus water guns equals something no one had tried before.
The crowd is split into teams and handed water guns. Artists perform from the stage while the audience soaks each other, and the stage soaks the audience back. Between sets, the energy doesn’t drop — the festival is designed so the chaos never fully calms down. It’s a festival, a water fight, and a summer party compressed into one experience.
The Seoul edition runs July 24–26 at KINTEX’s outdoor global stage in Goyang. Confirmed acts include JAY PARK, KISS OF LIFE, Dayoung, Lee Youngji, and RIIZE, with more to be announced. KINTEX is the biggest outdoor stage the festival uses — this is the flagship edition.
Wear clothes you don’t mind destroying. Bring a waterproof bag for your phone and cash — you will get drenched, without exception. Lockers and changing rooms are available on site. Pack a full change of dry clothes.
KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage is in Goyang, north of Seoul. Take Metro Line 3 to Daehwa Station (대화역), then walk ~10 minutes or catch the festival shuttle. About 45–60 minutes from central Seoul. Tickets sell out fast — book through the official WATERBOMB site or Interpark early.
