노량진동 학원 마을과 생선 시장

📍 Noryangjin-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul

Noryangjin contains two parallel worlds: the fish market open 24 hours with live seafood tanks that restaurants replenish nightly, and the hagwon district serving students preparing for civil service exams. The two populations share the same all-night food stalls and convenience stores. The fish market was rebuilt in 2016 but the pre-dawn trading activity remains unchanged for decades.
