A 24-hectare wooded park in southern Seoul that most tourists never reach. Originally planted in 1986, the forest has grown dense enough to feel genuinely removed from the city — unusual for a park within the city limits. The central meadow fills with picnickers on weekends; the outer trails are quiet on weekdays. The Yangjae Stream runs along the eastern edge and connects to a cycling path extending toward Gwacheon. The park is adjacent to the Yangjae flower market (daily, 4am onwards), which supplies cut flowers to most of Seoul — arriving early in the morning to see the market in full swing before the park opens makes a memorable combined visit.
