A forested walking trail encircling Ansan (296m) in Seodaemun-gu, offering one of the best city-view walks in western Seoul without the crowds of Bukhansan or Namsan. The 7km Jarak-gil circuit stays mostly within dense pine and oak woodland, emerging at several viewpoints along the ridge. The summit observatory has a 360-degree view from Bukhansan in the north to the Han River estuary in the west. The trailhead in Yeonhui-dong is 15 minutes on foot from Sinchon station. Wildflowers cover the lower slopes in April and May. Almost no tourist infrastructure — trail markers are in Korean, but the path is easy to follow.
