Bukchon Hanok Village North Loop (북촌 한옥마을 북쪽 루프)

The famous photo spot on Bukchon-ro 11-gil is the one everyone visits. The north loop — continuing past the viewpoint and circling through the residential alleys toward Changdeokgung — has the same tiled rooftops with a fraction of the foot traffic. Actual residents live here, laundry hangs between the eaves, and the neighborhood operates at its own pace entirely independent of the tourist circuit two blocks south. Mornings before 9 a.m. it's almost empty.
