Busan Gadeokdo Island Ferry and Lighthouse (부산 가덕도 등대 트레일)

Gadeokdo Island in Busan's Gangseo-gu, connected to the mainland by the Geoga Bridge, holds a hiking trail to the Deungtaeseom Lighthouse at the island's southeastern tip — a 4-kilometre trail through mixed coastal forest and cliff-edge path with views of the Korea Strait and the Geoje Island bridge visible across the water. The island is the construction site of the planned Gadeokdo New Airport (scheduled opening 2029) and the current relatively undeveloped landscape will change significantly. The Gadeokdo seafood restaurants in Daehang Village specialise in the conger eel caught in the adjacent strait.
