Cheongdam French Bakery Quarter (청담 베이커리 골목)

Three or four small French-style bakeries operate within a few blocks of each other in the residential part of Cheongdam, largely sustained by the local expat and long-term foreign resident population. The croissant and pain au chocolat quality is consistently good; a couple of the operations do their own butter fermentation on-site. Opening hours are short — most close by early afternoon once the day's batch is gone. The cluster is not marked or aggregated anywhere officially; you find them by walking the residential streets.
