Daegu Dalseo-gu Seongdang-mot Pond and Artist Village

📍 Dalseo-gu, Daegu

A small pond in western Daegu surrounded by artist studios that colonized a former factory district. The village holds open studio events on the first Saturday of each month. The pond is home to migratory birds in winter. Local artists sell work at prices far below Seoul galleries. The area is discovering its identity as Daegu alternative creative district.
