Korea's premier theme park earns its reputation not through rides alone but through the sustained aesthetic ambition of its seasonal programming. The Tulip Festival in April and Rose Festival in May transform the park's European-themed gardens into something genuinely beautiful — hundreds of thousands of blooms across hillside terraces that predate the Instagram era and feel all the more sincere for it. Autumn foliage season is equally striking. The park is maintained to an obsessive standard by Samsung C&T, and the attention to detail extends from the landscaping to the food stalls. The T-Express wooden roller coaster remains one of Asia's most respected, but for a foreign visitor, showing up during festival season and spending the morning in the garden sections before the crowds peak is the move.
